Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and dining areas by bussing tables and assisting with general restaurant upkeep.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting.
