Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, providing excellent guest relations from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems , ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations by bussing and resetting tables promptly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food preparation meets quality standards and guest expectations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in food industry standards such as sanitation, proper serving techniques, and food safety regulations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Basic math skills for cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• A passion for hospitality is essential
