Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and process payments promptly
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns with professionalism

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to handle food safely, follow sanitation protocols, and manage food handling procedures effectively
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding menu items and food prep processes
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling accuracy
• Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred but not required; hospitality background highly valued
