Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, with a focus on presentation and guest satisfaction
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
• Proven ability in beverage service including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Previous restaurant or food service experience in fine dining or casual settings preferred
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus
