Duties

  • Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable to process orders efficiently and handle cash or card transactions with precision.
  • Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as a bartender, ensuring adherence to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar station, and service stations by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed.
  • Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
  • Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Follow sanitation protocols and food safety standards rigorously to uphold health regulations in food handling and service.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience or food service background is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement.
  • Experience in serving alcohol responsibly with knowledge of alcohol laws and regulations.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and billing accuracy.
