We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Restoration Industry Sales Trainer to deliver impactful training programs tailored to the unique demands of the restoration industry. The Sales Trainer will focus on equipping sales teams with the skills, tools, and strategies needed to effectively communicate value, build relationships, and drive business growth. This role requires deep knowledge of restoration services, client engagement during emergencies, and sales techniques specific to this field.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Delivery
- Using the Company Learning Management System: Deliver comprehensive sales training programs focusing on restoration services such as water damage, fire/smoke restoration, mold remediation, and other related services.
- Conduct engaging in-person and virtual training sessions for restoration sales professionals and referral network managers.
- Facilitate interactive workshops, role-plays, and situational exercises to simulate real-world scenarios.
- Offer individualized training to address specific skill gaps or challenges.
Performance Evaluation
- Assess the effectiveness of training through participant feedback, sales performance metrics, and follow-up assessments.
- Analyze results to refine training strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to set measurable KPIs for sales teams post-training.
- Industry Expertise
- Stay updated on restoration industry trends, technology, and regulatory changes to incorporate into training programs.
- Provide expert insights into insurance claim processes and client engagement during emergencies.
- Guide sales trainees on effectively addressing client pain points, especially in high-stress situations.
Relationship Building
- Train sales teams on building long-term relationships with clients and key referral sources, including insurance adjusters, property managers, agents, plumbers and contractors.
- Mentor teams on techniques to retain and grow referral networks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in the restoration industry, particularly in sales or training capacity.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs for sales teams.
- Familiarity with restoration industry software, such as Xactimate or similar platforms (preferred).
Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to engage and motivate diverse sales teams.
- Expertise in relationship-building and client-focused sales strategies.
- Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and e-learning tools.

Compensation:
- $60,000 to $75,000 DOE
