ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Restorative Practices Coach, reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, plays a vital role in tailoring, implementing, and assessing learning initiatives across the organization. This position involves close collaboration with different departments to identify training needs, tailor curriculum content, and lead programs designed to improve employee skills and performance.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
The Charter Management Office(CMO is the non-profit entity that manages the Urban Dove Team Charter Schools. The CMO provides a wide range of services–including back office functions, accounting, hiring, professional development, data analysis, public relations, advocacy, and more. The CMO is also responsible for providing support structures for the schools and ensuring proper replication of the model as the organization expands.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the Associate Director of L&D to identify training needs and opportunities.
  • Conduct surveys, interviews, and assessments to determine learning priorities.
  • Design and revise training materials, including presentations, workshops, handouts, and online modules.
  • Utilize adult learning principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Facilitate training sessions and coaching sessions, both in-person and virtually.
  • Provide instruction on a variety of topics, including leadership development, technical skills, and soft skills.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
  • Coordinate training session logistics including invitations, location, reminders & follow up.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant attendance.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to deliver specialized training programs as needed.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in instructional design, training facilitation, or learning and development.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Project management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
