Job Description:

  • Management:
  • Manage the effective achievement of Marketing objectives through the leadership of the Marketing - setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximize subordinate and the performance of the department.
  • Budgets and Plans:
  • Develop and contribute to the preparation of the Marketing section budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified
  • Policies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures:
  • Recommend improvements to policy and direct the implementation of instructions covering all areas of Marketing activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service
  • Day- to-day Operations:
  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of Marketing to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.
  • Brand:
  • Develop overall brand marketing strategy, annual plan, brand packaging and promotions.
  • Media and Advertisement:
  • Lead brand media planning, advertisement and fundamentals.
  • Market Research:
  • Confirm the review of market research outcomes with analysis of performance vs. competition and recommend specific actions.
  • New Products Development:
  • Manage new products development to ensure the generating of effective results.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account 'international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Reporting:
  • Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports of marketing to meet Savola and department requirements, policies and standards
  • Health, Safety, & Environment:
  • Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
  • Related Assignments:
  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
