Retail Credit Analyst

- Responsible for assessing the credit worthiness of retail lending applications (Loans and Cards).
- The role involves evaluating financial information, verifying documentation and providing sound recommendations in line with the bank’s credit policy and risk appetite.
- Analyze retail credit applications for individuals, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Assess applicant financials, employment status, credit history and other supporting documents to determine credit risk.
- Recommend approval, decline, or modification of credit applications and escalate to higher authority.
- Ensure adherence to turnaround time (TAT) and quality standards in credit assessments.
- Participate in system testing and enhancement projects related to credit approval platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- 1 – 2 years of banking experience.
