Retail Delivery Engineer

We are seeking a UAE National Retail Delivery Engineer to support the Retail Design & Delivery team in managing retail and F&B fit-out projects from design approval through to final handover.

The role requires strong on-site coordination, stakeholder management, and regulatory compliance experience within the UAE retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage retail and F&B unit fit-out works from design approval to final handover
• Coordinate with tenants, consultants, contractors, and mall/site teams
• Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to project timelines
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings and landlord guidelines
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations (Civil Defense, Municipality, etc.)
• Coordinate design approvals with internal stakeholders and external authorities
• Resolve technical issues during construction
• Ensure all permits and NOCs are obtained prior to commencement
• Support tenants in navigating authority processes
• Ensure compliance with lease technical requirements
• Coordinate with Leasing and Legal teams on delivery obligations
• Monitor penalties, delays, and non-compliance cases
• Conduct snagging inspections and oversee rectifications
• Manage final handover and opening readiness
• Ensure submission of as-built drawings and completion certificates

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in retail delivery or fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations
• Experience working with developers, mall operators, or retail asset owners
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (MS Project knowledge is an advantage)
