JOB DESCRIPTION – RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER (GYM FACILITY)

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Retail Operations Manager with strong sales expertise and hands-on experience managing 7–10 retail outlets.

The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, operational excellence, and customer experience within our gym facility and retail ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue Growth

• Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
• Improve conversion rates, upselling, and cross-selling
• Implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns
• Monitor KPIs: footfall, conversion %, average order value (AOV)

2. Retail Operations Management

• Oversee gym-based retail operations (supplements, merchandise)
• Ensure smooth POS, inventory, and stock flow
• Maintain store standards: display, hygiene, branding
• Manage stock replenishment and minimize shrinkage

3. Team Management

• Lead and train retail staff and floor teams
• Conduct daily briefings and performance tracking
• Ensure discipline, attendance, and SOP compliance
• Build a high-performance sales culture

4. Customer Experience

• Ensure premium in-store experience for gym members
• Handle escalations and customer feedback
• Improve retention through engagement and service quality

5. Systems & Reporting

• Use tools like Odoo / POS / dashboards
• Generate daily & weekly performance reports
• Track staff productivity and sales performance
• Coordinate with marketing for campaigns and promotions

6. Gym Integration

• Align retail strategies with gym member behavior
• Promote supplements and services within the facility
• Work closely with trainers for product recommendations

Requirements

• Proven experience managing 7–10 retail outlets
• Strong background in sales & retail operations
• Experience in fitness, supplements, or lifestyle industry (preferred)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Data-driven mindset (KPIs, reporting, dashboards)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
