Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Retail Operations Supervisor at Green Planet part of Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

Retail Supervisor will always provide a high standard of service. To manage guest flow and experience in a courteous and friendly manner. Upselling and suggestive selling. Maintain outstanding operating standards for Retail and Ticketing department in all areas including guest experience, shop presentation, safety and cleanliness.

Key Accountabilities:

• To display a friendly, helpful, and cheerful attitude while communicating effectively with our guests and fellow team members to support the company’s Vision, Core Values and Brand Promise.
• To listen actively to our guests’ feedback, requests, and concerns to act in an ethical, effective, and timely manner to exceed their expectations.
• To help with retail operation necessity on daily basis to ensure of highest standard service to all guest and supporting all staff with upselling/suggestive selling product to ensure revenue target achieved.
• To ensure all retail areas and facilities are always in full stock, clean, and presentable.
• Managing staff schedules including opening, closing and breaks are being efficiently scheduled.
• To ensure all retail staff always deliver a high level of interaction with the guests and manage guest flow and experience in a courteous, friendly, and efficient manner always.
• To ensure the enforcement of SOP and all areas are arranged in a manner where guest and staff safety is the first.
• To manage the smooth operation of the department and monitor all retail assets (hardware & software) to be always in highest performance.
• To work closely with other departments to ensure smooth running of the facility.
• To train staff for cash handling using VGS system and ensure end of day reports submitted without variance.
• To manage the ordering stocks, monitoring fast and low moving items and creating plans to ensure revenue target achieved.
• To ensure all stock and consumables are presented in an efficient and eye-catching manner, whilst complying with health and safety regulations.
• To ensure that scheduled staff are on time, professionally presented and fully prepared for their shift.
• To run reports and leading inventory and complete the task in a timely manner.
• To manage complaints, return/damage items and report the incident accordingly.
• Ensure safe and organized evacuation methods according to SOP and training. / Crisis management

Qualifications: High School Certificate.

Experience: 1+ years of experience in a supervisor role in a commercial department, preferably inthe entertainment and hospitality industry

Skills :

• Sales experience and sales leadership
• Experience leading monthly inventory and stock maintenance.
• Knowledge of the ticketing/POS system is desirable but not essential
