Position: Retail Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement retail sales strategies to achieve company sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify and develop new retail business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Negotiate trading terms, listing fees, promotions, and visibility agreements with key retail chains.
  • Manage product placement, planograms, and in-store merchandising activities to maximize visibility.

2. Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Ensure timely execution of promotions, product launches, and marketing campaigns in stores.
  • Monitor sales performance, shelf share, and competitor activity within retail outlets.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely order delivery and stock availability.

3. Team Management & Leadership

  • Supervise and support sales representatives and merchandisers to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Set sales goals, monitor field activities, and provide performance feedback and training.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess execution quality and team performance.

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates.
  • Analyze retail performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor pricing, discounts, and margins to ensure profitability.
