Retail Storekeeper

We are looking for an organized, experienced store keeper to be responsible for all stock, staff management, and planning promotional campaigns for the store.

To be successful as a store keeper you must be able to multitask and perform under pressure while remaining professional with customers. A good store keeper is able to manage stock by keeping a record of sales and ordering the required replacement items, occasionally making new product purchases that consumers may enjoy.

Responsibilities:

• Receive merchandize and count it physically and electronically in order to ensure accuracy of information
• Inspect the quality of the received products looking for damaged or wrong items and report discrepancies to the hierarchy
• Classify and store items in the stockroom on a daily basis as per shop procedure in order to ensure timely finding and release of products
• Organize and arrange merchandize according to items characteristics and set standards, and tag newly arrived and/ or returned items as instructed
• Coordinate the cleansing of the stockroom with designated cleaning agents
• When requested, participate in the inventory of products and report the end-of-day inventory status to Store Manager
• Assist Sales Associates in replenishing stocks on the shelves in order to ensure availability of products at all times
• Report any suspected theft or loss prevention issue to the Loss Prevention department
• Maintain knowledge of new sales policies, promotions, new items, and other specific issues as needed
• Process & fulfill all orders coming from marketplaces, e-commerce & others
• When requested, assist the store team with transfer orders & other system procedure.

Qualifications:

• Can join immediately.
• Cancelled/Visit Visa
• Fresher or with experience with the same field.
• Currently residing in Dubai
