Role Purpose
To manage material storage and issuance at Innovo MEP project site stores, ensuring accurate stock records and safe, organised storage of materials and equipment.
Key Accountabilities

Stock Management
-
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and equipment at the site store.

Issue materials to site teams against approved requisitions and maintain accurate stock records.

Inventory Control
-
Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile with ERP records.

Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Material Controller.

Store Organisation
-
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe storage area in line with HSE requirements.
-
Maintain clear labelling and bin/location coding to enable efficient material retrieval.

Material Handling
-
Coordinate safe loading, unloading, and internal transfer of materials and equipment.

Ensure manufacturer storage and handling requirements are followed for sensitive items.

Documentation & Reporting
-
Maintain goods received notes, delivery notes, and material issue vouchers.

Prepare periodic stock status reports for the Material Controller and Procurement.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Diploma or secondary education
-
Minimum 3–5 years of store keeping experience in construction

Good organisational and record-keeping skills

Good knowledge of MEP materials, tools, consumables, and equipment storage requirements

Experience using ERP/material management systems and maintaining accurate stock records

Good organisational, record-keeping, numeracy, and reporting skills
-
Awareness of HSE requirements related to storage, housekeeping, manual handling, and material segregation
-
Ability to coordinate professionally with suppliers, delivery drivers, procurement, and site teams
