Job Vacancy: Storekeeper

We are currently hiring a reliable and experienced Storekeeper to join our Construction Team.

Job Description

The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing the receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory control of construction materials, tools, and equipment. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills and previous experience in construction stores and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming construction materials and equipment
• Maintain proper storage and arrangement of materials in the warehouse/store
• Monitor stock levels and prepare inventory reports
• Issue materials to site personnel and maintain proper documentation
• Coordinate with procurement and site departments regarding material requirements
• Ensure accurate recording of stock movements and inventory transactions
• Conduct regular stock checking and inventory audits
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the storage area
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly store reports
• Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials to avoid damages or losses

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Storekeeper in the Construction Industry
• Good knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Experience in inventory management and stock control
• Knowledge in preparing material receiving and issuing reports
• Basic computer knowledge, especially in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE/GCC construction experience is an advantage
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is preferred
• Can join immediately is an advantage
