As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Storekeeper with a strong background in interior fit-out materials and construction inventory management.

Job Summary

The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of construction and interior fit-out materials, tools, and equipment. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working in a fit-out or construction company and possess excellent knowledge of building materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming construction and fit-out materials.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports.
  • Issue materials, tools, and equipment to project sites against approved requests.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment with the Procurement Department.
  • Organize the warehouse/store to ensure materials are stored safely and systematically.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
  • Maintain proper documentation including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue vouchers, and stock registers.
  • Track company tools and equipment issued to employees.
  • Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Procurement, and Logistics teams regarding material availability.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of expensive finishing materials to avoid damage or wastage.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the store.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a Construction or Interior Fit-Out company in the UAE.
  • Excellent knowledge of interior fit-out materials such as gypsum boards, ceiling systems, partitions, MDF, plywood, laminates, veneers, solid surfaces, hardware, glass, aluminum profiles, paints, adhesives, sealants, flooring materials, sanitary items, electrical accessories, HVAC materials, and finishing materials.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Experience in inventory management and stock control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
  • Ability to prepare stock reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred Candidate

  • Experience in handling multiple project stores.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Immediate joiners will be preferred.
