We are seeking an organized, experienced Storekeeper with a very keen eye detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work with to strict deadlines to join our growing team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming food, beverage, and operating supplies against purchase orders and delivery notes,
ensuring correct quantity, quality, and specifications.
- Check expiry dates, packaging condition, temperature, and hygiene standards upon receipt, rejecting non-compliant items.
- Receive delivery documents, make goods issue requests, save information on the goods in the system and transfer it to
the purchasing or accounting department under regulations to serve the next control stage.
- Ensure proper storage of items according to required conditions (dry store, chiller, freezer, bonded store), following food
safety and hygiene standards.
- Implement and strictly follow FIFO/FEFO procedures for all food and beverage items.
- Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and system entries for all inventory movements.
- Issue items only against approved requisitions and ensure timely availability for kitchen, bar, and operational departments.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and assist in inventory audits and cost control exercises.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely reordering while minimizing wastage and overstocking.
- Identify and report damaged, expired, spoiled, or slow-moving items to management for corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene regulations, and company SOPs at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and pest-free conditions within all storage areas.
- Enter sales orders with pricing in Focus and Excel.
- Record Global Village sales in Excel.
- Enter purchase transactions in Focus and Excel
- Conduct physical stock audits and reconcile with system reports.
- Set and monitor Re-Order Levels (ROL) to ensure sufficient stock availability in the store.
- Share daily closing stock reports with the Operations team and Head Office.
- Review and compare supplier pricing, identify price variations and differences among the same or different suppliers, and
select the best supplier for purchase
- Prepare inventory, variance, and usage reports as required by management.
- Safeguard all stock and company assets, ensuring proper security and access control to store areas.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by management related to storekeeping and inventory control.
Job Requirements:
Qualification : Graduate of any Accounting Course
Experience : 2+ years of experience in storekeeper or warehouse assistant
Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must be organized and punctual
Well-presented and professional
A good team player
Strong enough to lift heavy items
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Excellent interpersonal skills
