Retail Video Editing Intern

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Retail Video Editing Intern to join our Retail Education & Experience team. This role will support the editing, organization, and distribution of video content used for retail training. The intern will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to help bring learning content to life through engaging and high-quality video assets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The 8-week Alo internship programs starts June 8th and ends July 31st. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills HQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with editing and assembling video content for retail training initiatives including but not limited to Tik Tok-style education videos.

• Support the organization and management of project files and finalized assets.

• Collaborate with the Retail Education & Experience team to craft scripts and content aligned with learning objectives.

• Assist with basic motion graphics, captions, or visual enhancements as needed.

• Provide administrative support to the Retail Experience & Education team.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving content and workflow.

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Working knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Previous experience in retail preferred.

• Genuine interest in fashion, trends, and brand storytelling is a plus.

The compensation for this position is $25 per hour.
