Retention Marketing Manager-Onsite OKC

We are seeking a Manager of Retention Marketing to oversee and enhance customer retention and engagement efforts. This role will serve as the primary product owner of our loyalty program, "The Bullion Club," and play a critical role in the growth and development of both the program and our branded credit card, "The Bullion Card" across the Bullion International Group portfolio of brands.

About the Role

The Manager of Retention Marketing will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and optimization of customer retention and loyalty initiatives across Bullion International Group’s portfolio of brands. This individual will lead efforts to increase customer lifetime value (LTV), drive repeat purchases, and improve overall customer engagement through our loyalty program, branded credit card, and multi-channel marketing campaigns.

This is a strategic yet hands-on role requiring both vision and execution excellence. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, customer-focused, and well-versed in lifecycle marketing, CRM, and loyalty program management. They will also be responsible for monitoring key customer health metrics, including Orders Per Customer (OPU), Revenue Per User (RPU), retention, and LTV, to ensure the ongoing success of our customer retention strategies.

This role will collaborate closely with teams across marketing, business development, business intelligence, customer service, and sales to enhance customer loyalty and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Channel Loyalty Marketing Execution

  • Design and execute loyalty-focused campaigns across email, SMS, mobile app, direct mail, phone, and The Bullion Card, ensuring seamless and personalized customer experiences.
  • Use customer data and segmentation to develop tailored lifecycle marketing strategies that drive repeat purchases.
  • Leverage A/B testing and customer insights to optimize engagement strategies, loyalty promotions, and rewards redemption experiences.
  • Work closely with creative, content, performance marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure consistency and brand alignment across all touchpoints.

Customer Health & Performance Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze key retention KPIs, including Orders Per Customer (OPU), Revenue Per User (RPU), and Lifetime Value (LTV), to track program effectiveness.
  • Identify trends in customer churn and loyalty engagement, developing proactive strategies to reduce attrition and maximize retention.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership on how to enhance loyalty, engagement, and retention.
  • Work with business intelligence teams to measure program ROI, forecast performance, and optimize budgets

Loyalty Program Management ("The Bullion Club")

  • Serve as the primary product owner of "The Bullion Club," overseeing strategy, execution, and optimization of the program to enhance customer retention and engagement.
  • Continually develop a compelling value proposition for members, including tiered rewards, incentives, exclusive perks, and benefits tailored to different customer segments.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless program integration across email, SMS, app, direct mail, and phone, channels.
  • Continuously analyze program performance, customer participation, and member behavior to identify opportunities for improvement. Track the incremental monetary value of the program and maintain positive ROI.
  • Test and implement innovative strategies to increase loyalty program enrollment, engagement, and repeat purchases.

Branded Credit Card Marketing ("The Bullion Card")

  • Lead marketing execution for campaigns featuring "The Bullion Card," working closely with business development and external partners to drive customer acquisition and utilization.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase cardholder engagement, spending, and retention.
  • Analyze cardholder behavior to create targeted incentives and rewards that encourage repeat transactions and loyalty.
  • Optimize the integration between the credit card program and "The Bullion Club" to provide additional value for high-spending customers.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor the team, providing guidance on campaign execution, performance analysis, and customer engagement tactics.
  • Partner with creative, content, business intelligence, business development, sales, and customer service teams to enhance the customer loyalty ecosystem.
  • Work closely with external partners, including loyalty program vendors and software companies, to execute program enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in loyalty marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or retention marketing, ideally within eCommerce, or fintech-based businesses required.
  • Proven success in managing and growing customer loyalty programs, with experience in designing tiered reward structures and engagement tactics.
  • Experience working with branded credit card programs is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in customer data analysis, segmentation, and performance tracking (Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Looker, or similar tools).
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, SMS, app, direct mail, and phone-based engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools (Salesforce, Braze, Klaviyo, Iterable, or similar).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of collaborating across teams and presenting insights to leadership.
  • Experience mentoring or managing a small team is a plus.
