Retirement Plan Administrative Assistant

Job Summary
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers and a passion for helping people? We are looking for a Retirement Plan Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that our clients’ retirement plans are managed with precision and care.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has a foundational understanding of retirement plan design (401k & 403b) but is looking to grow their career without needing decades of experience. If you are a "people person" who loves checking off a to-do list, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • Client Support: Serve as the first point of contact for plan sponsors, answering questions regarding contributions, distributions, and general plan inquiries via phone and email.
  • Plan Administration: Assist with daily plan maintenance, including processing loan and distribution requests, plan corrections and custodian updates.
  • Data Management: Maintain clean and organized electronic files; ensure all data entry meets compliance standards.
  • Workflow Coordination: Manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, ensuring that seasonal compliance tasks and client requests are handled on time.

What We’re Looking For

  • Foundational Knowledge: You understand the basics of retirement plan design (e.g., how vesting works, the difference between Pre-tax and Roth, or basic eligibility requirements).
  • Communication Pro: You have a professional and friendly phone presence. You can explain complex information in a way that is easy for clients to understand.
  • The "Details" Person: You’re the type who double-checks every decimal point. In the world of retirement plans, the small stuff matters.
  • Time Management Skills: You can pivot between tasks easily and know how to prioritize a busy inbox without letting things fall through the cracks.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable learning new industry-specific software.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
