Within this business, the Hotels Revenue team accelerates growth by designing and scaling highimpact revenue solutions, with a sharp focus on execution, innovation, and performance. Working in close collaboration with product, hotel supply, and category the team maximizes revenue through data-driven strategies, focusing on dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, and channel management to optimize profitability, by analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and booking patterns to set optimal rates. The function is grounded in core values of customer centricity, ownership, and continuous improvement.


About the Role


This role sits within the Hotels Revenue team and plays a critical role in driving revenue performance and operational efficiency for the Domestic Hotels business. The incumbent will own the day-to-day analytics backbone by identifying process gaps, analyzing performance trends, and supporting key revenue and operational initiatives.


The incumbent is responsible for tracking and interpreting core business and service metrics, translating daily data streams across demand, pricing, conversion, and supply health into intuitive dashboards and decision-ready insights that enable continuous improvement and faster decision-making.


In addition, the incumbent will partner on GenAI-led automation initiatives to streamline reporting, experimentation, and decision support. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, comfort with ambiguity, and effective cross-functional collaboration across Revenue, Supply, Product, and Tech.


What will you be doing


  • Translating business questions into well-defined analytical problems and communicating insights through dashboards, scorecards, and structured business reviews.
  • Deep diving into performance spikes and drops across city, segment, channel, and cohort dimensions, translating analysis into clear what / so-what / now-what recommendations for business teams.
  • Building, maintaining, and evolving standardized performance scorecards across key charters such as budget, premium, cohorts, new demand, and customer experience (CX).
  • Designing, running, and tracking experiments, iterating based on outcomes to scale high-impact initiatives.
  • Partnering closely with central data and ML teams to:
  • Preparing, validating, and curating datasets and prompts for GenAI copilots (e.g., analyst copilots for daily MIS and natural-language data queries).
  • Monitoring the quality and reliability of GenAI outputs, continuously refining prompts, guardrails, and workflows.
  • Leveraging GenAI tools (chat assistants, code copilots, document generators) to automate and accelerate reporting, analysis, root-cause investigations, and business review narratives.


Qualification & Experience


  • Graduate from a reputed institute with 2 to 6 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or revenue/marketing analytics; exposure to travel, OTA, or marketplace businesses is a plus.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience handling large datasets, along with hands-on expertise in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker .
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts , including A/B testing, cohort analysis, and forecasting.
  • Exposure to Python and/or R , along with familiarity with GenAI-based analytics tools , is desirable.
  • Familiarity with hotel and OTA metrics such as ADR, RevPAR, and conversion is an added advantage.
