Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
** The work schedule will be Monday - Friday with hours anywhere between 7:30am - 5:30pm EST / 6:30am - 4:30pm CST **

Sort mail inboxes for finance and RCM distribution

Sort any specific patient correspondence to the patient’s chart and email a copy to the representative that handles that patient’s location/provider for review

Sort/distribute incoming faxes

Distribute returned refund checks received from finance department

Process virtual credit card payments for professional and facility locations

Review A/R roll forward log for missing items
-
Locate missing EOB's and save to Finance folders

Enter patient demographics into CBO Patient Accounting system daily from Center Patient Accounting system

Back up for those teammates on PTO / out of office

Any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of high school diploma / GED is required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficient with computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Highly organized, detail-orientated, a strong work ethic, and demonstrated teamwork skills

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Previous Healthcare billing and/or Healthcare accounts receivable work experience preferred
Min: USD $19.00/Hr. Max: USD $21.00/Hr.
