About the Role
OI Infusion is seeking a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Manager to oversee setup functions and billing operations. This leader will manage a team of billers and a setup specialist, ensuring clean claims, accurate EMR maintenance, and seamless site implementations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about reducing denials while driving revenue optimization.
ResponsibilitiesSetup & System Management-
Oversee coding audits, including adjustment codes, NDCs, rates, and diagnosis codes.

Manage quarterly rate updates and EMR system maintenance.

Execute new site and provider setup, ensuring accurate configuration of charge codes, modifiers, and payors.

Lead EDI, ERA, and EFT enrollments and troubleshoot issues.

Ensure smooth integration of new sites and TINs into the practice management system.

Administer provider portals and maintain secure access.

Identify underutilized tools to improve efficiency.

Create SOPs and provide training for new team members.
Billing Leadership & Operations-
Develop and enforce billing/coding practices to reduce denials and rejections.

Supervise billing team, manage workflow, and set performance expectations.

Monitor KPIs (billing holds, productivity, QA, rebilling).

Resolve escalated claims issues with clearinghouse and payors.

Lead implementation of AI-driven billing tools to improve efficiency.

Conduct regular audits and update SOPs to ensure compliance.
Team Management-
Lead a remote team of 3–5 direct reports.

Conduct 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and coaching.

Oversee scheduling, timecards, and PTO approvals.

Support team growth through hiring, training, and development.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
-
3+ years of management experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.

Strong knowledge of billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), and claim submission processes.

Experience with setting up and maintaining EMR/practice management systems (AdvancedMD preferred).

Familiarity with EDI, ERA, EFT agreements, and clearinghouse platforms (e.g. Change Healthcare).

Proven ability to lead remote teams and manage competing priorities.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - advanced knowledge of excel a must.
