Revenue Cycle Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Revenue Cycle Supervisor to lead the patient financial experience and oversee all revenue cycle operations within our growing Ophthalmology practice.

This leader will drive performance, accountability, and operational excellence across Revenue Cycle and Benefits functions while cultivating a positive, patient-centered culture aligned with our core values. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—capable of leading people, improving systems, and ensuring optimal financial outcomes.

This role directly impacts patient satisfaction, physician experience, compliance, and practice profitability.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and inspire Revenue Cycle and Benefits team members
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and continuous development of staff
  • Conduct performance management, provide feedback, and address staff concerns proactively
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence
  • Lead daily/weekly huddles and monthly team meetings to drive communication and engagement

Revenue Cycle Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day Revenue Cycle functions including:
  • Benefits verification
  • Authorizations
  • Coding oversight
  • Charge entry
  • Payment posting
  • Denial management
  • AR follow-up
  • Ensure claims are processed accurately and efficiently to maximize reimbursement

Strategy & Growth

  • Identify and implement strategies to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
  • Support practice growth initiatives and productivity goals
  • Monitor KPIs and drive measurable outcomes
  • Provide data-driven insights and reporting to leadership

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure strict adherence to State, Federal, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, DOL, etc.)
  • Maintain knowledge of ophthalmology billing best practices
  • Interpret and apply policies and procedures accurately
  • Address patient billing concerns with professionalism and resolution-focused communication

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume Revenue Cycle operations (Required)
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in healthcare (Required)
  • Experience in Ophthalmology or surgical specialty billing (Strongly Preferred)

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • 8-hour shift
  • In-person role
  • Must be able to commute to Eugene, OR 97401

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
