Job Summary and Qualifications

The Revenue Cycle Support Specialist is responsible for providing cross trained support in the following areas: Cash Posting, Claims Resolution, Credit Balance, EDI Billing, and Treasury. The Specialist will perform primary duties within legacy systems with new acquisitions and migrations, and will serve as a secondary resource as business needs dictate coverage.

What you will do in this role:

• Create and update patient accounts with appropriate demographic and insurance information
• Create claims based on coding guidelines
• Perform follow up on aged AR in compliance with departmental policies and procedures
• Post and balances all payments received in a timely and accurate manner
• Resubmit primary and secondary claims
• Identify potential claim issues and escalate to management
• Review, identify, and resolve payor denials
• Ensure adjustments are posted timely and correctly for claims that need to be adjusted
• Ability to multitask on several projects daily

What you will need:

• Minimum one year related healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in eCw, EPIC, Practice Velocity, Artiva, Patient Keeper preferred.
