Revit MEP Draftsman

Revit MEP Draftsman involves preparing detailed 2D/3D drawings and models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems using software like Revit and AutoCAD. Key responsibilities include collaborating with engineers to draft layouts, coordinating with architectural and structural drawings to avoid clashes, implementing design changes, ensuring compliance with codes, and maintaining drawing records. The role requires proficiency in drafting software, strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, and excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting and modeling: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings and BIM models for mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other teams to coordinate MEP layouts with other disciplines and resolve design conflicts.
• Design implementation: Implement design changes and markups provided by engineers and project managers.
• Code and standards compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local building codes, and company standards.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records of all drawing revisions and updates.
• Produce construction documents: Generate construction documents, including drawings and schedules, from the coordinated MEP design.
• BIM family management: Create and manage BIM families for MEP components, incorporating manufacturer specifications and design requirements.

Required skills and qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of other drafting software is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), codes, and construction processes.
• Experience with BIM modeling, including creating and managing families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

NOTE: Prefers with experience in preparation of coordination in drawings, and can join immediately.
