Position Summary

The Rigger / Grinder / Pipe Fabricator / Pipe Fitter is responsible for supporting construction, mechanical, and industrial projects by safely handling lifting operations, preparing and fabricating pipes, grinding, cutting, and assembling piping systems. This multi-skilled role requires strict adherence to safety standards and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities

Rigger Duties

Prepare and inspect rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, ropes, and chains.

Assist in lifting, hoisting, and moving heavy loads using cranes and other equipment.

Signal and coordinate with crane and equipment operators to ensure safe lifting.

Grinder Duties

Operate hand grinders and cutting tools to smooth, shape, or cut metal materials.

Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.

Follow safety standards to prevent sparks, injuries, or equipment damage.

Pipe Fabricator Duties

Measure, cut, bend, and fabricate pipes according to project drawings and specifications.

Use welding and fabrication tools to assemble piping sections.

Ensure quality checks and proper alignment of fabricated pipes.

Pipe Fitter Duties

Install, assemble, and repair piping systems for industrial or construction projects.

Read and interpret isometric drawings and blueprints.

Test piping systems for leaks and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in rigging, grinding, pipe fabrication, and/or pipe fitting.

Certification in rigging and/or pipe fitting (preferred).

Knowledge of safety standards in construction and industrial environments.

Ability to read technical drawings and load charts.

Physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Package

Rigger: 2000

Grinder: 2000

Pipe Fitter: 2000

Pipe Fabricator: 2400

Accommodation, Transportation and Uniform will be provided by the Company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,400.00 per month
