Job Title: RMO – Gynaecology

Department: Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Reports To: Consultant Gynecologists' / Medical Superintendent
Location: Vedansh Super Specialty Hospital and Heart Centre

Job Summary:

The RMO – Gyanaecology is responsible for providing round-the-clock medical care and assistance to patients in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department. The role involves monitoring patients, assisting consultants during procedures and deliveries, handling emergencies, and ensuring continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient and emergency medical care to Gynaecology and Obstetric patients.
  • Assist senior consultants during normal deliveries, caesarean sections, and minor/major surgeries.
  • Monitor patient condition, record vital signs, and update case sheets regularly.
  • Perform initial assessment of patients in Labour Room, OPD, and Emergency.
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient progress, treatment, and discharge summaries.
  • Handle obstetric and gynaecological emergencies promptly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff for smooth patient management.
  • Ensure all necessary investigations are done and results are communicated to consultants.
  • Participate in ward rounds and implement consultant instructions.
  • Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols in the department.
  • Provide counselling to patients and families regarding treatment, procedures, and postnatal care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: MBBS (Registered with State Medical Council)
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology preferred (freshers with relevant interest may apply).
  • Skills Required:
  • Sound knowledge of Gynae and Obstetric procedures and emergencies
  • Ability to work in high-pressure and emergency situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused attitude

Work Schedule:

  • Rotational shifts (Morning / Evening / Night)
  • On-call duties as per hospital schedule

Compensation:

  • As per hospital norms / based on qualification and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
