Job Summary and Qualifications

The RN Manager CVICU ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Level entry training may be a Diploma Program in Nursing, an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
  
• 3+ years of acute care nursing experience required

• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation required. (if compact licensure must change primary state of residence within 90 days)

• American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider required; ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support(within first 6 months of employment)

  Successful completion of an EKG recognition and treatment certification within 6 months of entering this position

  Successful completion of TNNC (Trauma Nurse Core Courses) or TCAR within 12 months of entering this position
