includes a 57-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to take care of babies who are born early or require a higher level of care. Babies in the NICU may require more medical equipment to adjust to the world, but the NICU is also a place where we encourage parents to bond with their infants in their earliest stages of life. Our NICU-trained specialized team includes:
  • Board-certified neonatologists
  • Neonatal nurse practitioners
  • NICU nurses
  • Human milk technicians (LPNs)
  • NICU-trained respiratory therapists
  • Occupational therapists

The NICU RN's will assist Parents in becoming comfortable with handling and caring for their baby. The unit encourages parents to stay with their little one as much as possible.
