Road Engineer Responsibilities & Duties

• Developing and implementing road design plans and specifications
• Conducting site inspections and assessments
• Working with cross-functional teams to identify project needs and requirements
• Coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to ensure project completion within budget and timeline
• Performing cost estimating and budgeting for road projects
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and standards
• Providing technical support and guidance to project teams
• Preparing project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Road Engineer Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Several years of experience in road engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Auto Cad, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
• Experience with sustainable and environmentally-friendly construction practices.
• Leadership experience in managing engineering teams or projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering license or ability to obtain within a specified time frame
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in road design and construction
• Strong understanding of road design software, such as AutoCAD and Micro station
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Working knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
