Roll-off Truck Driver -CDL Class A or B $27.00 per hour

Hoosier Hauler Inc, a veteran owned dumpster and waste management company in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a full-time roll-off driver for the Indianapolis area. Candidates must have either a Class A or Class B CDL driver's license with pay starting at $27.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities for the roll-off driver position include the following:

• Delivering and picking up roll-off dumpsters
• Daily truck inspections and maintaining cleanliness of truck
• Use of software, plus iPad/iPhone to locate and tag assets and upload pictures in real time
• Maintenance on dumpsters to include stenciling/greasing
• General housekeeping (shop)
• Reporting truck/dumpster issues to supervisor in timely manner
• Overtime and some Saturdays are required
• Drivers will be required to work 45-60 hours per week during peak season (March-October) and 40-45 hours during non-peak season (November-February)
• Safety-focused with safe operation of all company vehicles and equipment
• Customer-friendly demeanor
• Excellent attendance history

Qualifications include:

• Candidate must have a valid Class B or Class A license and active medical card
• No major traffic violations
• Clean driving record
• Prior roll-off experience and/or heavy truck experience preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of electronic Technology (i.e. smart phone, bluetooth)
• Ability to follow and retain instructions
• Capable of heavy lifting, bending, stooping, and kneeling while securing loads, as well as the ability to frequently climb in and out of heavy-duty truck cab.
• Physical stamina to maintain a steady, productive work pace throughout the day and ability to work in an environment with high levels of noise, dust, and vibration. Must be able to work in varying sometimes extreme, weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold)
• Prior to employment candidate will be subject to a drug test and background check
