Roofing Crew

Job Summary
Join our dynamic roofing team as a Roofing Crew Lead with your crew, where your energy and craftsmanship will help deliver top-quality roofing solutions to our clients. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You’ll be instrumental in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs using a variety of tools and techniques, ensuring durable results that stand the test of time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Understand homeowner needs and wants in regards to their roof replacement or repair
• Prepare job sites by setting up safety barriers and staging materials efficiently
• Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials such as shingles, plywood, and metal flashing
• Use caulking, trim carpentry, and other finishing techniques to achieve high-quality roof edges and details
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris safely throughout the project
• Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project timelines

Experience

• Prior experience or hands-on work with roofing projects is required
• Familiarity with standard dimensional shingles and their method of installation
• Experience with diagnosing roof repairs or water leaks and having the knowledge to fix them in a timely manner
• Knowledge of roofing tools and machinery is required
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights on ladders
• Previous roofing experience is a requirement
• MUST provide your own dump trailer as well as general liability and workman's comp insurance for you and your crew
• MUST provide all roofing tools and machinery for your crew
• MUST be willing to communicate with salesman and office staff regarding the status of your roofing job
