Roofing Foreman

Anderson Roof is seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead residential and light commercial roofing projects in the greater Seattle/Eastside area.

This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on expertise in composition roofing systems. Experience with metal roofing, PVC, or Torchdown is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead roofing crews on job sites
• Coordinate daily job activities, materials, and schedules with production coordinator
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients
• Train and mentor crew members
• Troubleshoot job site issues and ensure timely project completion

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of roofing experience (required)
• Proven experience as a foreman or crew lead
• Strong background in composition (asphalt shingle) roofing
• Experience with metal roofing systems, PVC, and touchdown are a bonus
• Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking
• Ability to read plans and specifications
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This is a working foreman role that combines hands-on roofing work with crew supervision. Applicants must be comfortable with:

• Climbing ladders and accessing roofs regularly throughout the workday
• Working at heights on residential and light commercial buildings
• Standing, walking, and moving around job sites for extended periods
• Lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs as needed
• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round
• Navigating uneven surfaces and active construction environments
• Performing physical roofing tasks when needed while also overseeing crew operations

Pay & Benefits

• $35-50/ hour DOE
• Bonus eligibility up to $100/hour for performance and safety
