Roofing Sales Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, cold calling, and networking within assigned territories
  • Manage existing accounts by providing excellent customer service, conducting product demos, and upselling additional roofing solutions
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments to recommend tailored roofing options that meet client specifications and budget considerations
  • Present compelling proposals and negotiate contracts to close sales efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for strategic planning
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to implement territory-specific campaigns that attract new clients and increase brand awareness
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up actions to ensure seamless account management

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the roofing or construction industry
  • Strong management skills with the ability to oversee territory management and lead generation efforts effectively
  • Expertise in business development strategies, account management, and territory sales expansion
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce and other CRM tools for tracking sales pipelines and customer data
  • Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to ensure long-term relationships
  • Ability to conduct product demos confidently and present technical information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Skilled in analysis to identify market trends, evaluate competition, and develop targeted sales strategies
  • Exceptional communication skills for cold calling, inside sales conversations, and retail interactions
  • Demonstrated success in upselling additional products or services while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of marketing principles related to territory promotion and lead generation tactics

Pay: $85,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
