Social Media and Content Manager

About the role:

We are looking for a talented and driven B2B marketer with strong visual storytelling skills to execute and manage content for a portfolio of clients. This is a hands-on role: the ideal candidate loves writing copy, creating visuals, and managing campaigns across LinkedIn and email. The Marketing Account Manager will own a portfolio of clients end-to-end. You will plan, create, and publish content for our clients' social and digital channels to help them win better projects, attract stronger talent, and increase their visibilityin the markets they care about.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute all digital content deliverables for assigned clients
  • Plan and design content calendars, including captions and hashtag research
  • Create and edit photos, graphics, and videos
  • Coordinate and support on-site photo and video sessions with clients, when needed
  • Design and deploy email newsletters
  • Update and design new marketing materials for clients, when needed
  • Develop and maintain detailed marketing strategies for multiple clients at once
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients and proactively bring ideas and recommendations to them
  • Maintain direct communication with clients, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly
  • Coordinate strategy meetings regularly
  • Use data and qualitative feedback to refine strategies and content over time
  • Schedule and monitor posts for assigned clients (primarily LinkedIn, occasionally Facebook and Instagram)
  • Review analytics and client feedback to monitor the performance of content
  • Stay up to date with relevant trends, tools, and best practices for B2B marketing on LinkedIn and email
  • Collaborate with the CEO and the Vessel Marketing team to align on new strategies and ideas

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with social media platforms, email campaign tools, and analytics. Basic comfort with making simple website updates is a plus!.

  • Team Player: Effective and positive collaboration with the CEO, team members, and clients.
  • Passionate: Eager, upbeat, curious, and ambitious for growth with a deep interest in B2B marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

Preferred Experience:

  • Relevant experience or knowledge in the construction, industrial, or maritime industries
  • Planning, execution, and monitoring of content creation with experience managing business and professional accounts
  • Production experience using Canva and scheduling programs
  • Production experience with video editing and/or photography
  • Proficient in working in G Suite
  • Experience running Meta and LinkedIn Ad Campaigns
  • Newsletter writing is a plus!

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
