Job Summary:
The Room Sales Executive is responsible for generating room revenue through corporate tie-ups, travel agents, online platforms, and direct bookings. The role involves developing business relationships, meeting sales targets, and maximizing occupancy while ensuring excellent client servicing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Identify and develop new corporate, OTA, and travel agency accounts.
- Achieve monthly and yearly room sales targets.
- Promote hotel rooms, packages, and membership plans to potential clients.
- Work closely with revenue management to optimize room rates and occupancy.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Conduct regular sales calls, meetings, and property visits with clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporates, and event planners.
- Handle inquiries for group bookings, room blocks, and long-stay guests.
- Resolve client issues and ensure timely follow-up.
3. Market Research & Strategy
- Study competitor rates, promotions, and occupancy trends.
- Work with the marketing team to drive promotions and seasonal campaigns.
- Maintain an updated database of leads and client contacts.
4. Contracting & Negotiation
- Create and negotiate corporate rate contracts and agreements.
- Ensure timely renewal of rate agreements and partnerships.
- Coordinate with the reservations and front office teams for smooth execution.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Update CRM or sales tracking systems.
- Coordinate with operations, front office, and F&B for client requirements.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiation and relationship-management abilities
- Knowledge of room revenue, occupancy trends, and rate structures
- Familiarity with OTAs (Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Expedia, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel PMS/CRM
- Target-driven and proactive approach
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in hotel room sales (depending on role level)
- Existing network with corporate and travel trade is preferred
Work Conditions:
- Location: On-site (hotel-based or corporate office)
- Timings: Standard or shift-based, depending on hotel policy
- Reporting to: Sales Manager / Director of Sales

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
