ROPE ACCESS – IRATA LEVEL 3 SUPERVISOR

Job description and role:

These responsibilities highlight the importance of a Rope Access Level 3 Supervisor in ensuring the safety and efficiency of rope access operations, which is essential for the success of various industrial projects.

Role includes:

Planning and Management: Develop and implement the rope access work plan, including all risk assessments and method statements.

Supervision: Take full responsibility for the safety and coordination of the entire rope access team on site.

Rigging Expertise: Design and oversee complex rigging setups, including anchor systems and contingency plans.

Rescue: Be proficient in planning for and executing all possible rescue scenarios from the rope access system.

Training: Mentor and train Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.

Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in strict compliance with the IRATA International Code of Practice and the company's safety policies.

Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the client on site regarding rope access matters.

Supervision Given: Provides direct supervision to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.

Required Certification & Experience:

  • Certification: Valid IRATA Level 3 certificate.
  • At least two years working as an IRATA level 3 Supervisor
  • Valid driver’s licence an advantage
  • Written and spoken English a must. Arabic an advantage
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of rope access techniques, equipment, and rescue procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Additional trade skills (e.g., NDT, mechanical, painting, inspection) are an advantage.
