Rotating Equipment Technician – Oil & Gas

We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Technician with hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability support for critical rotating equipment in plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment
• Support plant reliability and ensure equipment performance standards
• Carry out inspections and preventive maintenance activities
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and engineering standards
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams

Requirements

• Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Additional certifications in Rotating Equipment is an advantage
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Energy sector
• Strong hands-on field experience in rotating equipment maintenance like Pumps, Compressors (process & gas), Gas turbines, Gearboxes (high & low speed), Fans and blowers, Expanders, Electric motors & associated mechanical systems and tools.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA)
• Familiarity with SAP or similar CMMS systems and MS Office
• Familiarity with standards from QatarEnergy / Shell
• Strong English communication skills (written & spoken) and teamwork skills
• Must have a valid Qatar driving license or attain a DL in the near future
• Must be available for immediate joining
