The Rotational Undergraduate Analyst Program is a distinguished early-career opportunity designed for high-potential undergraduate students seeking to explore multiple facets of our organization. Spanning from Claims, Underwriting and Product, this immersive rotational program provides hands-on experience, training, professional development, and intensive mentorship, preparing participants to become well-rounded analysts and future leaders. At the end of the program, you will have the opportunity to join one of the teams you work with.

Program Overview

Participants in the Rotational Undergraduate Analyst Program will embark on a journey that typically spans [18–24] months, divided into 12 months in Product, 6 months in Claims, and 6 months in Underwriting for both Personal and Commercial Lines. Throughout the program, analysts will be exposed to a variety of business challenges, contribute to high-impact projects, and engage with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

As a Rotational Undergraduate Analyst, you will:

  • Participate in multiple assignments across different business units to gain comprehensive organizational insight
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to support strategic decision-making
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams on high-impact projects and initiatives
  • Develop and deliver presentations on findings and recommendations to business leaders
  • Assist with process improvement, operational optimization, and digital transformation efforts
  • Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking
  • Collaborate with mentors, managers, and fellow analysts to enhance learning and performance
  • Document and share knowledge gained from each rotation to inform future assignments
  • Engage in structured training, workshops, and networking events
  • Demonstrate adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous growth

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Liberal Arts or a related field
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership potential through academics, extracurricular activities, internships, or volunteer work
  • Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and adapt to new situations quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Python) is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship

Preferred:

  • Previous internship or work experience in a related field
  • Coursework or projects involving data analysis, business strategy, or technology
  • Interest in pursuing a long-term career with our organization
  • Multilingual abilities and/or international experience

Professional Development & Mentorship

The Rotational Undergraduate Analyst Program offers comprehensive training, access to leadership development resources, and ongoing mentorship from experienced professionals. Each analyst is paired with both a rotation supervisor and a program mentor, ensuring personalized guidance and support throughout the program.

Participants will attend workshops and seminars covering topics such as:

  • Business acumen and industry trends, and professional designations such as, but not limited to CPCU, AINS, Are, ARM
  • Technical skills (data analytics, project management, presentation skills)
  • Professional networking and personal branding
  • Leadership and team dynamics
  • Career planning and goal setting
  • Networking events and leadership panels with company executives, program alumni, and subject matter experts provide valuable opportunities for career exploration and relationship building.

Performance Evaluation & Feedback

Analysts receive ongoing feedback from rotation supervisors and participate in formal performance reviews at the end of each rotation. Evaluations focus on technical proficiency, business impact, collaboration, adaptability, and leadership potential. Individual development plans are designed to address growth areas and capitalize on strengths, ensuring continual progress throughout the program.
