Route Planning & Scheduling Executive

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Route Planning & Scheduling Executive to manage daily bowser (fuel tanker) scheduling and optimize delivery routes across Dubai and surrounding regions. The role is critical to ensuring timely fuel deliveries, maximum fleet utilization, compliance with UAE regulations, and efficient operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule daily bowser routes based on client requirements, delivery volumes, and priority.
• Monitor live movement of bowsers via GPS/telematics systems to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Re-route or reschedule in case of emergencies, breakdowns, or last-minute client requests.
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and operations teams for smooth execution of deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with RTA and fuel transportation regulations.
• Track bowser performance, fuel utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of route schedules, trip logs, and delivery KPIs.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements to optimize time and cost.
• Provide daily/weekly route performance and utilization reports to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in route planning, fleet scheduling, or logistics operations (fuel delivery or tanker operations preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Dubai roads, industrial zones, and delivery routes.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, fleet management software, and MS Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing schedules.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in petroleum/fuel logistics.
• Understanding of bowser/tanker operations and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of UAE transport compliance requirements (RTA, ADNOC/ENOC guidelines, etc.).

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
