Route Sales Driver Non-CDL

Position Overview: This person will deliver products and service to our retail customers. Someone who can work independently, yet is a team player, someone who has a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills and a solid work ethic. Must be at least 21 years of age, have a clean driving record and pass a pre-screen drug test.

Essential Job Functions

· Provide consistent, excellent customer service

· Operate vehicles up to 52,300 GVW

· Load and unload product; average weight of parcels is 35 pounds each

· Clean and perform preventative maintenance on equipment at customer site

· Complete paperwork accurately and legibly

· Adhere to Federal , state, local and company safety policies

· Develop long term partnerships with new and established customers

· Deliver products and services to established client base

· Sell to independent customers new products, the Company’s freezer program, sales promotions, and to implement our point of sales materials program

Requirements

· Ability to work flexible hours

· Expected to run the route until completion

· Must be 21 years of age or older

· Ability to begin workday as early as required and be punctual

· Handheld computer aptitude

· Ability to frequently sit and drive a truck, climb in/out of truck

· Ability to frequently push/pull a handcart with up to a 200 pound load up to 500 feet

· Ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds from floor to chest and occasionally overhead

· Ability to frequently stand, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, grasp and overhead reach

· Ability to frequently walk on surfaces, inclines, may be wet or icy

· Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Drug test

· Ability to pass a post-offer physical evaluation

Ability to communicate in a professional and effective manner with external and internal customers
