- $25+ per hour (largely DOE)
- Applicants must be comfortable commuting to our location in San Gregorio, CA, a minimum of 3 days a week
- Flexible schedule; occasional weekends required
Responsibilities
- Media outreach and social media content creation
- Implement strategies to promote product sales
- Research and write press releases, blogs, and newsletters
- Create written, graphic, and video content for the company websites, grant proposals, and fundraising campaigns
- Arrange press conferences and publish articles
- Plan and host events
- Adhere to the company’s style guide, ensuring that we produce high-quality and error-free copywriting
- Perform regular quality inspections of internal and external-facing media, branding, and protocols
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and journalists, seek out media opportunities, and engage public audience
- Facilitate internal and external diversity, inclusion, and community service initiatives
- Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
- Market product, career opportunities, events, and company values
- Track time and expenses for profitability reports
- Administrative duties as necessary
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, videography, film, or a related field (not required)
- Demonstrated videography experience including knowledge of post-production techniques
- Social media strategy and algorithms
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Event planning
- A portfolio of work available for review
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Work Location: In person
