Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our fast-paced engineering team. You’ll be working on scalable web applications, building robust backend systems, and integrating with third-party platforms like Stripe and Shopify. If you're passionate about clean code, best practices, and building products that scale—we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
• Implement and manage background jobs (e.g., Sidekiq) to handle asynchronous processing
• Build secure authentication systems (e.g., Devise) and implement role-based authorization
• Integrate third-party APIs and services including Stripe, Shopify, and others
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to deliver seamless user experiences
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform regular code reviews
• Optimize application for performance, scalability, and security
• Participate in architecture decisions and technical planning

Requirements:

• 6months - 2yrs of experience with Ruby on Rails
• Strong command over Active Record and database design
• Hands-on experience with background job frameworks (e.g., Sidekiq)
• Solid knowledge of authentication and authorization strategies
• Experience with Stripe, Shopify, or other 3rd party API integrations
• Familiarity with Git, and Agile development practices
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs220,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
