Job Title: Safety and Security Manager – (Highrise Construction experience)

Location: Dubai

Salary: Competitive as per market.

Experience required: 12 + years (Mandatory)

Job Summary:

The Safety and Security Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring all health, safety, and security policies and procedures within the organization to ensure a safe and secure working environment for employees, visitors, company assets, and project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Management

  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs in compliance with UAE regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations, PPE usage, and safe work practices at all project sites.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with preventive measures.
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and awareness training for employees and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of work activities.
  • Maintain all safety documentation, permits, records, and reports.

Security Management

Develop and implement site security procedures and access control systems.

Supervise security personnel and ensure proper deployment at project sites, camps, and offices.

Monitor CCTV systems, security incidents, and emergency response procedures.

Ensure company properties, equipment, and personnel are protected from theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.

Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, and management during security incidents or emergencies.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor law, municipality regulations, civil defense requirements, and company policies.
  • Prepare monthly HSE and security reports for management review.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety and security standards.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
  • NEBOSH (mandatory).
  • OSHA / IOSH certification (preferred).
  • First Aid & Fire Fighting certification
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
