Safety Trainer

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Trainer to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting professional health and safety training sessions for our clients, both on-site and in-house (office-based). The role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of safety regulations, and the ability to deliver engaging training sessions in English and Hindi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety training sessions for clients at their sites and in-house locations, ensuring compliance with international and UAE safety standards.
  • Prepare and deliver interactive training materials, presentations, and practical demonstrations on topics such as workplace safety, PPE usage, fire safety, first aid, and emergency response.
  • Develop, review, and update training programs and materials according to company standards and client needs.
  • Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback and certification assessments where required.
  • Assist in developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Stay up to date with relevant legislation (OSHA, EPA, UAE safety regulations) and industry best practices.
  • Prepare training reports, maintain attendance and certification records, and provide periodic performance summaries to management.
  • Support the company’s mission of promoting safety awareness and compliance across all client operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Safety Trainer, Safety Officer, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train employees from various backgrounds.
  • Must be fluent in English and Hindi (additional languages will be an advantage).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with safety management systems is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to travel to client sites within the UAE.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (mandatory).
  • Professional Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA (preferred).
  • Additional safety or training qualifications will be considered an asset.
