JOB SUMMARY:

Velmayil Developers is looking for an experienced Safety Engineer to oversee and implement safety standards across all construction sites.

The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in ongoing and upcoming projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Develop, implement, and monitor safety procedures and policies for all project sites

. Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.

 Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective measures to minimize risks

. Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox meetings for site staff and workers

. Maintain proper documentation of safety reports, incident logs, and statutory records

. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure a safe working environment.

 Investigate accidents or incidents and prepare detailed reports with preventive measures.

 Ensure compliance with local labour laws, environmental guidelines, and safety regulations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Industrial preferred).

 7 to 10 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in the construction or real estate sector

. Certification in Industrial Safety or NEBOSH / IOSH preferred.

 Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, risk assessment, and emergency response.

 Excellent communication and leadership skills.

 Ability to train and guide site personnel on safety practices.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
