Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Safety Manager with over 10 years of construction safety management experience to oversee safety operations on projects based in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah. The candidate will ensure strict adherence to UAE safety regulations and company safety policies across multiple construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and programs tailored for large-scale construction projects in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis for all construction phases to mitigate potential safety risks.
• Perform regular and surprise site inspections in multiple project locations to ensure safe work practices.
• Lead accident and incident investigations, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Oversee safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials on-site.
• Ensure all tools, machinery, and equipment comply with safety standards and undergo routine maintenance.
• Coordinate and conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and safety inductions for workers and subcontractors.
• Maintain and update safety documentation, including safety plans, permits, logs, and reports for all projects.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate safety into all stages of project execution.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills on-site.
• Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce fall protection and scaffolding safety protocols.
• Supervise safety procedures for excavation, electrical work, and confined space entry.
• Foster a proactive safety culture by encouraging hazard reporting and continuous safety improvements.
• Liaise with Dubai Municipality, Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, and other relevant regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Evaluate subcontractors’ safety performance and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Monitor environmental health and safety impacts, ensuring sustainability and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Safety Manager in construction projects, preferably within the UAE (Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction safety laws, standards, and best practices.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
• Proven track record managing safety on large construction sites.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
