Safety Officer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring and implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies to ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports with recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.
• Ensure use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) by all staff.
• Liaise with project managers, supervisors, and workers to promote a positive safety culture.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HSE field.
• Certification in NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to prepare clear and detailed reports.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
